About The Role:

As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will lead a team responsible for providing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings.

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Be responsible for the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Schedule and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Coordinate and handle facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues!
  • Prepare and handle capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
  • Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal laws. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
  • Lead environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
  • Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety standard processes.
  • Identify, fix, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relative experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Equal Pay Disclaimer
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $100,500 annually [or $48.32 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $150,000 annually [or $72.12 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
