About the Role:
As a CBRE Survey Project Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of surveying services, including project planning, resource allocation, and quality control. You'll be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
What You'll Do:
• Manage survey projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, resource allocation, and quality control
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Manage and maintain project documentation, including survey reports, plans, and records
• Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and architecture, to ensure project requirements are met
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements
• Manage and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
• Develop and implement project management plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Monitor and report on project progress, including financial, schedule, and quality metrics
• Identify and mitigate project risks, including changes in scope, schedule, and budget
• Develop and maintain project knowledge management systems to ensure knowledge sharing and retention
• Conduct project close-out activities, including finalizing project documentation and conducting lessons learned sessions
• Collaborate with other teams, including surveying, engineering, and architecture, to ensure project requirements are met
• Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including permits and licenses
• Manage and maintain project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Develop and implement project communication plans to ensure effective communication with
stakeholders
• Conduct project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for future projects
What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in survey project management, including experience with project planning, resource allocation, and quality control
• State Certificates and Licenses as required by the state
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Ability to travel to project sites, including remote locations, as required.
